Intentional Risk Assessment
Let's talk about risk.
Using risk questionnaires nearly always misses the mark. That's because subjective words like "conservative" or "aggressive" may mean different things to different people; even between a husband and a wife.
Taking a quantitative approach to pinpointing your Risk Number by going through a series of objective exercises based on actual dollar amounts may help give a better scope of understanding feelings about risk.
This assessment aims to help guide a portfolio. The results are not the sole determinant in your financial plan, so other factors must be considered.
